Porch lights flicker on. Jack-o’-lanterns glow. Somewhere down the block, a chorus of excited voices is already making its way from door to door. Trick-or-treat night is just about here, and with it come candy-filled buckets, crunchy leaves underfoot, chilly cheeks, creative costumes and the kind of moments kids will remember long after the last piece of candy disappears.
