Lace up your running shoes, grab your costume and get ready for a spooktacular morning at the Freaky 5K Run/Walk & Mini Monster Dash!
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to enjoy the beautiful fall scenery along the Fox River at Pierce Park. Little monsters can kick off the morning with the half-mile Mini Monster Dash before the 5K Run/Walk gets underway.
And since it’s Halloween, costumes are definitely encouraged! Stick around after the race for a costume contest with awards for adults, children and groups, plus race awards for top finishers in a variety of age groups.
5K participants receive a custom finisher medal, chip timing and refreshments. Register by October 18 to receive a Freaky 5K T-shirt.
