Plein Air Along the Fox River 2026
Experience the beauty of the Fox River through the eyes of local and regional artists during the first-ever Plein Air Along the Fox River, taking place September 1–19, 2026!
Artists will set up their easels and sketchbooks outdoors along the Fox River in Green Bay, Allouez, Ashwaubenon and De Pere, capturing the landscapes, communities and everyday scenes surrounding the river in real time. “Plein air” simply means creating art outdoors — giving visitors a unique opportunity to see artwork come to life right where the inspiration begins.
Event Highlights:
September 1–11: Watch for participating artists painting and sketching along the Fox River
September 11, 5–8 PM: Soft openings at both exhibition locations
