Celebrate the season with an afternoon of local food, live music and nature at the Heckrodt Prairie Hootenanny!
Head to Heckrodt Wetland Reserve for a prairie celebration highlighting local producers and farmers, featuring locally made food with an end-of-summer flair. Enjoy folk-themed live music overlooking the mature prairie while discovering the plants and wildlife that make this unique habitat their home.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can experience the prairie in a variety of ways, from learning about native birds of prey and snakes to observing local plants and pollinators.
Bring the family and spend an afternoon enjoying good food, music and the beauty of the prairie as summer begins to give way to fall.
