Oktoberfest Saturday, September 19th at Circus World in Baraboo
Live Music, Craft Beer Contests, Pub Games Raise a stein and celebrate the arrival of fall at Baraboo Oktoberfest! Head to the historic Circus World grounds for an afternoon and evening filled with live polka music, local brews, traditional Oktoberfest fun and plenty of gemütlichkeit.
The festivities kick off with the Tour de Prost ride through downtown Baraboo, followed by the ceremonial tapping of the Golden Keg. Enjoy live music throughout the evening, including performances from Griffy Jim and the Polka Dots and headliner Mike Schneider Band. Festivalgoers can also join in traditional pub contests, show off their best Bavarian-inspired look during the costume contest, enjoy pretzels and other festival favorites, and soak up the lively Oktoberfest atmosphere.
Baraboo’s connection to German heritage makes Circus World a fitting backdrop for the celebration, with the Ringling family and many early circus impresarios tracing…
