FREE Family Fun in the Fox Cities

The Fox Cities Kidz Expo is a FREE, family-focused event held annually at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton, celebrating fun, learning, and community connection for kids and their families. Organized by the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club in partnership with the presenting sponsor North Shore Bank, this year’s Expo embraces the theme “Heroes in the Making,” celebrating the emerging hero in every child by inspiring imagination, confidence, and curiosity through hands-on learning and interactive experiences.  

The Expo returns on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, located at 355 W. Lawrence Street in downtown Appleton, offering families a full day of activities, exhibits, and live entertainment designed to inspire kids of all ages.

What to Expect

The Kidz Expo is designed to offer a full day of interactive and enriching experiences for kids of all ages, including:

• Photo opportunities with favorite costumed characters

• Selfie stations and play areas

• Entertainment stages featuring live performances and demonstrations throughout the day

Community Impact

Since its inception, the Fox Cities Kidz Expo has drawn thousands of attendees, becoming a staple family event in Northeast Wisconsin. Past editions have featured more than 60 activity booths, lively entertainment, and a strong lineup of exhibitors offering everything from educational resources to imaginative play experiences.

Admission to the event is free, and it aims to promote community togetherness, lifelong learning, and family fun.
