Northeastern Wisconsin is filled with local farms that invite you to slow down, sip cider, pick apples right from the tree, and search for that perfect pumpkin. Whether you’re in Appleton, Green Bay, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Door County, or the Wisconsin Dells, fall brings countless opportunities to create lasting memories.

Appleton Area
Spend the day exploring Star Orchard in Kaukauna or Hofacker’s Hillside Orchard in Appleton, both offering U-Pick apples, pumpkins, hay mazes, and orchard stores. For a hands-on family experience, Mulberry Lane Farm in Hilbert lets kids milk a cow, cuddle kittens, and take home a pumpkin with admission during their Pumpkin Harvest Celebration.

Door County Area
Door County is a fall paradise. Choice Orchards in Sturgeon Bay and Hyline Orchard Farm Market near Egg Harbor feature apple and cherry picking with plenty of treats to take home. Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market in Fish Creek pairs apple picking with bakery items, wines, and ciders. Family-run orchards like Robertson Orchards and Soren’s Valhalla Orchards offer apples, pumpkins, and sweet corn, while Wood Orchard Market in Egg Harbor is the place for baked goods and seasonal favorites.

Fond du Lac, Oshkosh & Surrounding Areas
The Little Farmer in Malone is a local treasure with apple picking, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and a bake shop. In Chilton, Heritage Orchard serves up apples, pumpkins, and cider donuts, while Waldvogel’s Farm in Juneau boasts one of the state’s largest pumpkin farms with over 80 attractions spread across 90 acres.

Pick from more than 20 apple varieties at the Oneida Nation Apple Orchard, or browse fresh apples at Apple-Licious Orchard in Howard. For pumpkins, gourds, and a Harvest Festival, Hillside Apples in Casco is a must-visit.

Families love Pleasure Valley Pumpkin Farm in Adell, packed with activities, while Bulitz Pumpkin Farm and Whispering Orchards & Café in Cleveland round out the fall fun.

West Bend & Germantown Areas
Fall fun is easy to find between West Bend and Germantown. In West Bend, Meadowbrook Pumpkin Farm & Market invites families to pick from more than two dozen pumpkin varieties, with hayrides out to the fields for the full harvest experience. Nearby, Rim’s Edge Orchard in Germantown offers over 20 varieties of U-Pick apples, from crisp Honeycrisp to late-season EverCrisp favorites. For a full-day adventure, head to Basse’s Taste of Country in Colgate, where families can explore an 8-acre corn maze, pick pumpkins, and enjoy 65+ fall attractions. For those who love variety, Barthel Fruit Farm in Mequon rounds out the area with apples, pears, pumpkins, gourds, and homemade bakery treats.

A large pumpkin farm with 26 varieties of pumpkins. You can pick your own pumpkin in the field (via hayride) or pick from already-picked ones in their patch.

For a true autumn adventure, Treinen Farm in Lodi features Wisconsin’s favorite corn maze and a massive pumpkin patch. And at Oakwood Fruit Farm, you’ll find pick-your-own apples, cider donuts, and caramel apples that taste like fall in every bite.
