EVENT INFO
Oct 11, 2025, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Horicon Marsh Education & Visitor Center, N7725 WI-28, Horicon, WI 53032, USA
Join educators an hour before sunset at 5:00pm for an informative talk on the birds you see flying overhead
The location will be determined the week of the event based on where birds are roosting for the night. It will be either at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center or the Palmatory Street Overlook.
Sandhill cranes, Canada geese, great egrets and a variety of ducks are just a few of the amazing migrants that will be flying into the marsh to roost at sunset.
Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will also be on hand to answer all your bird migration questions!
All programs are free and open to the public. Bring a chair and binoculars if you have them as we enjoy a fall evening at the marsh!
No registration required. For more information please call Liz Herzmann at 920-387-7893 or e-mail her at elizabeth.herzmann@wisconsin.gov.
