SPOTLIGHT: Neenah Police Bicycle Patrol Family Fun Night
Safety & Awareness | May 1, 2019
FREE EVENT! Join us May 16, 2019 from 5:00-7:30pm in Memorial Park, Neenah, WI.
Family Fun Night was started as a fund raising event to help further The Neenah Police Department’s Bicycle Patrol Unit. The unit was started in August of 2016 and is funded mainly through community donations.
Family Fun Night is much more than just a bike rodeo. It is an event that offers families a reason to get outside, and unplug from their electronics, to have some community fun. This year’s event will be completely free. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Need bicycle, helmet, and adult to participate.
As the bicycle season begins to get under way, Family Fun Night primarily focuses around an eight station bicycle rodeo. The rodeo is a fun event that teaches and refreshes bicycle safety skills. Kids (ages 4-15) that complete the bicycle rodeo will receive free bicycle headlights and tail lights. The participants will also be entered in a drawing that includes two free bicycles and many other nice prizes. Free helmets will be provided to those in need. In addition to the Bicycle Rodeo, there are many other exciting activities to participate in.
