HALLOWEEN SAFETY FOR YOU:
- Never Accept a Ride From a Stranger
- Do Not Leave Your Group or Pre-Planned Route
- Do Not Go Inside Houses, Garages or Other Buildings for any Reason
- Do Not Run. Walk.
- Be Aware of Open Flames in Jack-O-Lanterns
- Stay on Sidewalks.
- Follow Traffic Signs.
- Cross Only At Intersections.
- Watch for Cars Backing Out of Driveways.
- Stay Out of Back Yards, Fields and Alleys.
- Have an Adult Inspect All Candy, Gifts and Trinkets Received.
- Report Any Suspicious Activity to Police Immediately.
- If You or Someone You are with is Injured, Call for Help Immediately or Go Directly to a Hospital.
HALLOWEEN SAFETY FOR YOUR PET
- Check Your Pet’s Identification Tag Prior to Trick or Treating In Case Your Pet Escapes.
- Keep Your Pet Away from Open Flames in
- Jack O’ Lanterns and Other Halloween Decor.
- Keep Your at Home and Indoors.
- Do Not Leave Your Pet Outside Unattended.
- Keep Your Pet Securely in His/Her Crate or in a Safe, Enclosed Area and Away From Activity.
- If You are Handing Out Candy, Keep Your Pet Away from the Door.
- Never Approach, Scare or Tease Animals or Pets, Including Your Own, While in Costume.
- Do Not Dress Your Pet or Attempt to Put a Mask or Makeup on His/Her Face.
- Keep Halloween Candy and Treats Securely Out of Reach of Your Pets.
